The Kigo brush is an excellent tool for detangling natural hair, wigs, and coarse textures without pulling or breakage.
For best results on natural hair or wigs, work on damp or product-coated hair, hold the brush at a vertical angle, and gently brush from the ends, working your way up to the roots.

How to Detangle
- Section the hair: Divide hair into manageable 1-2 inch sections to make the process easier and prevent snagging.
- Apply product: Mist the hair with water or apply a leave-in conditioner/detangler so the brush glides through smoothly.
- Start from the ends: Hold the section and gently brush the very tips of your hair first.
- Work upward: As the ends detangle, slowly move your brush up toward the roots, gliding through smoothly.
How to Define Curls
- Prep the hair: Saturate the hair with a curl cream or leave-in conditioner while it is damp.
- Tension: Take a small section and place the brush underneath the hair near the root.
- Rotate and pull: Slowly glide the brush down through the length of the hair while slightly twisting it to clump your curls and define the pattern.
To Revamp Wigs
- Lay flat: Place the wig on a mannequin head or a flat surface.
- Gentle brushing: Work in small sections, brushing downward from the ends to remove knots, then lightly brush from roots to ends to restore a sleek appearance.
